Synthetic blend motor oil uses a mixture of synthetic and conventional base oils for added resistance to oxidation (compared to conventional oil) and provide excellent low-temperature properties.
That 8217 s issue No. 1. Issue No. 2 is the consistent recommendation in these widgets of 8225 Euro 8221 formulas. Along with this is whether an oil is mid or high 8225 SAPS, 8221 which seems to be about ash content. My car turns up recommendations for mid-SAPS oils. One difference seems to be that one is recommended for gas engines or diesel cars with particulate filters (high SAPS), the other for gas or diesel without DPFs.
