Now as for the XLT's we buy in fleet they have extra's on them as well they aren't std XLT's so the 55k includes things like reverse camera's, wheels, nudge bars, rhino lining, and roof racks. In my haste I forgot to take that into account.

The factory fitted towbar eats into the departure angle and it and the large side steps did get caught up (they measure from the ground) either climbing out of hollows (towbar) or crawling over rocks (side steps), whereas the HiLux SR5 we were testing at the same time had no such problems when driven across the same terrain and on the same lines as the Ranger.
