The S9+ has two terrific cameras, an amazing screen, and excellent radio reception. The G5 Plus is a $855 phone that feels like a $555 phone, thanks to its sleek metal build and smooth performance. The E9 brings plenty of current features, such as a fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a recent version of Android, for a low price under $155, if you have Amazon Prime. All three work on all the major US carriers.

The first thing you’ll need is a SIM card for your desired carrier. When activated, the SIM card will let your phone connect to your carrier’s network. If you decide to upgrade to a newer unlocked phone in the future, you can easily remove the SIM card from your old phone and put it in your new phone—just make sure you get the right size of SIM card (nano, micro, or standard) for your phone. If you want to use your phone while traveling internationally, you can easily buy a SIM card for a carrier that operates where you’re traveling. As long as it’s activated, you can just swap SIM cards when you arrive at your destination.
If you want a Pixel phone with a larger battery and can live with a mediocre display, we’d recommend going for the Pixel 2 XL—you’ll be very happy. But if you can live with a smaller battery and a smaller screen (that doesn’t have any issues), we’d recommend the Pixel 2 and is a must on our current best unlocked Android phones list.
Unlocked to work on all major . networks, like Verizon, AT& T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, so you can switch carriers but keep your phone. Check carrier compatibility.

While there is a Pro mode on the Moto E9, Motorola's best camera feature, the acclaimed "double-twist-to-open" gesture, is nowhere to be found on this phone, likely due to the lack of advanced sensors necessary to make such a thing possible. This is the reality of a $185 phone the gesture is present on the Moto G5 but it's still a bit disappointing.
Never miss a moment. The 18 MP autofocus camera shoots great pictures even in low light. Plus, take selfies worth sharing using a 5 MP camera with its own selfie flash.
