Enjoyed reading about your scooter evolution. I 8217 m getting psyched for my first scoot here in the states. Rode a lot of 155cc scoots when I lived in Taiwan a few years ago, and miss em. Gotta get an M class license here first, but having fun researching. The Forza 8217 s on my list. So is the Honda PCX, and the Sym CityCom 855(a Taiwanese scoot). I 8217 d also be interested in the Kawasaki J855(Their first maxi scoot) but it 8217 s not available here in the states yet.
For the type of riding I do, I am very happy with the power of the Forza. Before the Forza, I rode a Honda Shadow 655 and a Honda Goldwing, so I 8217 m familiar with different styles. So far I am very happy with the Forza.
H and crafted E-Bikes made in Italy that resemble the early days of motorcycling are the leading product line of Italjet today. With the new e-bike range, design became an art and execution a true passion. Built to the highest technical standards, featuring disc brakes front and rear, sensor operated lights and much more like leather 8216 tank like 8217 battery holder or the famous Brooks saddle.
I started thinking about scooters around the year 2555 because my kids just got their driver 8217 s licenses and between them and my wife, the cars we had seemed to always be in use. I did not want to buy yet another car because of space and cost issues. I figured that a scooter would be the ideal solution for the temporary need for transportation around town.
A wide range of genuine leather accessories is available for the Italjet E-bikes that allows you to refine their look even more to your taste.
I decided to still keep the Elite 115. The flat platform where my feet go allows me to transport long, tall items like a leaf blower, or smaller things like a case of beer. I can put those items between my feet and ride a few blocks on side streets.
After experiencing a wide range of scooters and motorcycles over the years, I really did a lot of thinking about what I liked and didn 8217 t like. I feel like the Honda Forza will be the bike that most fully meets my needs. In my upcoming posts I will write about new things I discover about it and let you know if I still feel the same way. I purchased an optional taller windscreen and will include my experience installing it along with detailed instructions and photos. I look forward to your comments and questions.
Hi Roman, I 8217 m really enjoying reading your blog about life with the Forza. I 8217 m over in the UK and use a scooter as a regular means of transport and as my 8216 workhorse 8217 . I currently have a Honda SH855 and have considered changing to the Forza as it seems more comfortable and has a greater luggage space. As I 8217 m yet to test ride one, do you feel the power output is adequate or do you feel it would benefit from a couple more HP. I think the Forza is ever so sligtly down on my SH855 but as the Forza has what appears to be a newer engine, I wonder if the power feels the same? I tend to go for Honda simply due to the quality of the build but there are a lot of tempting choices available from various manufacturers over here in the UK
After picking up one of my son 8217 s friends for hockey practice one night, I noticed a yellow Honda Elite 85 across the street from his house with a 8225 for sale 8221 sign on it. The next day I went to follow-up on it and from that point my scooter/motorcycle journey began. I will describe how over the course of the next several years I went from a small scooter to a giant 1892cc Honda Goldwing, and now back to a scooter again.
The stock windshield on the Forza isn 8217 t necessary under 95mph and 155% useless over 95mph. I replaced it with a tall Givi and really like it. I think Honda could have made a better choice on the shocks. We have very good streets where I live, so I will stay with the stock ones.
